Careers in the Fast Lane

05/12/2015

The Career Wiser team managed to commandeer the Be Wiser Kawasaki superbike replica on their most recent outing to Andover High Street on Friday.

It’s fair to say that Alex endured a chilly start to the day, but by the afternoon the sun was beating down and the town centre was bustling as usual.

More of the Career Wiser team arrived in the afternoon and were on hand to take photos of people on the bike, hand out goodies and explain the exciting career opportunities on offer at Be Wiser.

2015 marks a particularly exciting year for the Be Wiser Kawasaki race team, as it is the first time it has participated in the BSB British Superbike Championship, having graduated from the Superstock support leagues in which it has competed in recent years.

Former championship winner Tommy Hill has been appointed as manager of the Be Wiser team and prolific veteran rider Chris "The Stalker" Walker and the exciting young prospect Danny Buchan have also been drafted in to ride the new look Be Wiser Kawasaki ZX-10Rs (pictured above), in what is set to be a particularly special season.

The staff at Be Wiser are really looking forward to the Thruxton staff social in July, when the BSB Championship is set to return to the nearby race circuit. This year is set to be even bigger and better than ever, as the staff prepare to get behind the team in the headline event.

The Be Wiser Kawasaki team branding has also undergone a massive overhaul in preparation for the 2015 season and we think you’ll agree that the bikes look great with their striking black and yellow paintjobs.

Needless to say, the replica motorcycle attracted a lot of attention away from the weekly market in Andover and the future Be Wiser stars in the making enjoyed having their photos taken on the bike.

The Career Wiser team had loads of Be Wiser Kawasaki branded goodies to hand out and enjoyed meeting the local Andoverians who were particularly interested in finding out more about the opportunities that are on offer at Be Wiser.

People were very interested in our ReStart scheme and we also had a lot of interest from this year’s school and college leavers, who were eager to find out more about our award winning apprenticeship programmes.
