The brand new Take Charge programme is a development programme designed for internal staff wanting to build their knowledge of the company and helping them to progress their careers within the business by preparing them for future junior management roles.
The Take Charge programme has been developed to run over a period of 9 months. The programme includes a more blended approach to learning, this means that learners will have the advantage of experiencing not only classroom based learning but also work place learning. This will include business mentoring, research projects, group activities and E-Learning and will give all participants of the programme a more hands-on approach to gaining the skills and knowledge required for the roles within the company that they are keen to progress during their career with us.
The 9 month programme is broken up into 3 stages and will cover all the essentials skills, knowledge and behaviours required for each:
Stage 1 – Transferable Skills – Raising your profile through professional behaviour:
This stage will clearly define the expected professional standards to grow and succeed in the business.
Stage 2 – Key skills required for a Team Leader role – Developing Commercial Acumen:
This stage will help learners develop technical knowledge specific to the Team Leader role.
Stage 3 – Final Wrap up skills – Developing good interview facing techniques as well as presentation skills:
This stage will help learners to be able to write a good CV as well as prepare them to face a competency based interview. This stage will also cover good presentation skills.
On completion of and throughout the programme, learners will be rewarded for their progress and output in readiness to be signed off into our very own talent pool. This is a great opportunity for our staff to not only work towards their career goals but also expand their Be Wiser business knowledge.
